iPhone Duo screenshot sizes
iPhone Duo has two displays, and App Store Connect has a screenshot size for each.

Same rules as other sizes: 1 to 10 screenshots per size, .png, .jpg or .jpeg, no alpha channel.
When are they required?
Apple says that starting in April 2027, iPhone Duo screenshots will be required for any app using the iOS 27.1 SDK or later. Until then they're optional.
If you upload them, your product page shows a badge telling people your app is optimized for iPhone Duo.
Why you can't just scale your 6.9″ screenshots
The aspect ratios are different:

The Duo screens are much wider for their height. Scaling a 6.9″ screenshot to fit stretches it. You have three honest options:
- Re-capture on the Duo simulator. Best result, most work.
- Pad the existing screenshot onto a Duo-sized canvas (a blurred background or the edge colour). Fast, and the UI isn't distorted.
- Crop to fill. Works only if nothing important sits near the top or bottom.
Captions also need room. A headline that fits on two lines at 0.46 may look small and lost at 0.70, so check text size after padding.
